NYX Butter Gloss aka the Perfect Pout

NYX Butter GlossNYX Butter Gloss is quickly becoming a hand bag staple for me this spring, and for good reason!

As someone who reaches for chapstick more often than not, it’s pretty surprising when I start to favor a lipgloss instead. Since I’ve been keeping a NYX Butter Gloss in my purse, I just can’t stop applying it to my lips! The formula is smooth, creamy, vibrant, and hydrating, which makes the butter gloss perfect for keeping your lips looking and feeling luscious all day long.

The Claims

The description for the NYX Butter Gloss on Ulta:

Add a little more sweetness to your lips with a touch of any of NYx Cosmetic’s Butter Lipglosses available in 12 scrumptious colors! Get that creamy medium coverage on your lips without that sticky sensation. It’s perfect for every sweet tooth! Softens and conditions lips while giving a hint of color and gloss.

I would say that those claims are totally valid, and they’re so spot on about the medium coverage. One of my favorite things about these glosses is how effortlessly they enhance the natural color of my lips while also softening them.

NYX-Butter-Gloss-2

I don’t usually gravitate towards lip glosses because I find them too sticky or tacky, however, I have completely fallen head over heels for the NYX Butter Gloss! I have three shades: Cupcake, Peaches and Cream, and Apple Strudel. Cupcake is a slightly blue-toned pink, Peaches and Cream is about a shade lighter with more hints of coral, and Apple Strudel is a shade lighter than that. Out of the three, I think Peaches and Cream is probably my favorite, although I find myself using all three interchangeably.

Final Thoughts on the NYX Butter Gloss

Honestly, I think the NYX Butter Gloss is so worth the money and I can definitely see this becoming one of my all-time favorite lip products very soon. If you’ve been looking to update your Spring/Summer lip products, I would highly recommend trying these bad boys out!

Until next time…

Cheers!
