Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick Review!

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick

What’s up with the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick?

The beauty community is buzzing over the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks, so naturally… I had to get my hands on one of my own! Having a birthday is the perfect excuse to splurge on a high-end lipstick, right? Well, let’s just call that my excuse, then. After having seen so many blog posts and video reviews on UD’s new lipsticks, I had already had a few shades in mind before I ended up with this shade in particular…

First of all, these bad boys are everything I have ever wanted in a lipstick: long-lasting, super pigmented, and easy to apply! Since this was my first even high-end lipstick purchase, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from the product. I used to think that all lipsticks are created equal, but that is definitely not the case. The formula of the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks is so wonderful and creamy, however they do dry out during the day. Normally I’m not a fan of matte lipsticks, but I am in love with F-Bomb. I’m the type of gal who loves to wear a red lip but hates having to maintain it during the day. I remember wearing a red lip one time when I was very young and new to the whole makeup scene — it was all great at first until I looked back in the mirror a little bit later to discover my red lips had turned on me and made me look like a sad clown. Needless to say, I have been on a hunt for long-lasting red lipstick since that day.

Seriously, though, I can’t get over this lipstick. It’s my go-to favorite for a bold red lip at the moment, and I have a sneaking suspicion that my love for this lipstick isn’t going to fade for a very long time (Hey! Much like the lipstick itself!).
