Here are a few items on my Christmas 2015 Wish List, plus what I don’t need this year!
It’s that time of year again, folks. If you celebrate Christmas then I am sure you are already aware that it is rapidly approaching (yikes!). And if you’re anything like me, you’re scrambling to compile a list to give to friends and family. Since everyone is getting ready to do their holiday shopping I figured I ought to spare my family and friends the trouble of guessing what sort of gift to get me for Christmas this year and decided to put it all in a blog post instead! This is just a small list of the stuff I’ve had my eye on for a while now, and if the holidays weren’t just around the corner then I would probably end up buying each and every one for myself. Without further ado, here is my Christmas 2015 Wish List.
- LIFX Original A21 Wi-Fi Smart LED Light Bulb, Multicolor, Adjustable, Dimmable, No Hub Required, Pearl White – Bayonet B22 – £57.99
- Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette – £56
- Panasonic RPHTX7-W Retro-Style Headphones – White – £38.99
- Gift Cards
- What I Don’t Need Right Now
1. LIFX Original A21 Wi-Fi Smart LED Light Bulb, Multicolor, Adjustable, Dimmable, No Hub Required, Pearl White – Bayonet B22 – £57.99
I already have one of these LIFX bulbs and I have already decided that I need to kit out the rest of the flat with these fabulous creations! They are definitely expensive in the realm of light bulbs, but I love having the freedom to choose between the bulb’s color and brightness all from the comfort of an app on my phone. Available through Amazon.
2. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette – £56
Hourglass is a high-end luxury makeup brand and I have been seriously coveting their ambient lighting blushes and face powders for the last year. The Ambient Lighting Palette is a fantastic gift for the holidays, especially since it includes three powders, a bronzer, and two blushes! Not to mention that it would round out my highlighting collection very nicely. Available through SpaceNK.
3. Panasonic RPHTX7-W Retro-Style Headphones – White – £38.99
Let’s be real: I’m tired of using the earbuds that came with my iPhone to listen to music and podcasts! I’m ready to give my ears a bit of break and give myself a little less of a headache. These Panasonic headphones caught my eye, although I’m not especially tied to them. What I like about these ones is the retro-style and the fact that they’re white/cream. Another plus is that they would most likely cover my ears rather than sit on top of them! Available through Amazon.
4. Gift Cards!
I’m always very indecisive when it comes to creating wish lists for the holidays, so I am always happy to receive gift cards! This year I am hoping for gift cards to any of the following shops:
- Lush
- IKEA
- Wayfair.co.uk
- ASOS
- KIKO Cosmetics
- Muji
- Tiger
What I Don’t Need This Christmas
My flat is quite small and very full at the moment, and sometimes I find it’s a lot easier for me to say what I don’t need instead of the other way around. Here’s a short and by no means complete list of the sorts of gifts I don’t need for Christmas this year:
- Novelty gifts
- Novelty food
- Mugs
- Random makeup
- Hair ties
- Holiday specific items
What do you think? Are you like me and have a bunch of stuff on your “Don’t Need” list this year or does your wish list take the cake?
