Cruelty-free summer beauty products? Obviously! Even though the humidity is at 100% here in New Orleans, I still somehow manage to convince myself to put on makeup. In all honesty, though, I’m totally obsessed with some of my more recent beauty buys.

I was well overdue for a new clear brow gel, and when I saw that Wet n Wild made one I absolutely had to give it a go! The brush is pretty big, and the formula of this brow gel will definitely keep your brow hairs in place all day. Even on days where I don’t fill in my brows, I still like to brush them into place with some clear brow gel to make it look like I put in at least a little bit of effort.
I love a good matte neutral shade just as much as any other beauty blogger, and I’ve already hit pan on W.O.S in the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette! This single eyeshadow from Wet N Wild in the shade Crème Brûlée is a near perfect dupe for my beloved W.O.S! I would say that the main difference between the two is the consistency. Crème Brûlée is a little less blendable and not quite as buttery and soft as W.O.S, but this little eyeshadow cost me less than one dollar, so I can’t really complain, can I?
Since I’m going to be doing some traveling this month, I figured this trio of eyeshadows from Wet N Wild in the shade Walking on Eggshells would be a nice addition to my makeup bag. The light pinky eyelid color is very similar to Sin from the Urban Decay Naked Palette, and the crease color is pretty close to Smog, too. The key difference between both shades is that UD’s eyeshadows have much more shimmer to them, although I would go so far as to say that they are all equally as pigmented. I’ve really been enjoying playing with this little trio — sweeping any of the three colors all over the lids, blending out the crease color, and even creating a nice daytime smokey eye!
I was in the market for a new hand cream, and honestly, I don’t think I could have picked one more luxuriously hydrating! Crabtree & Evelyn’s Pomegranate hand cream has such a bright and refreshing fragrance to it. Every time I use this hand cream, it’s as if I’ve been transported to a tropical island and am being served the most delicious and refreshing cocktail ever created. This hand cream sinks into the skin wonderfully, leaving hands sweet and soft.
Yes, this is a yellow eyeshadow. I know it may look a little intense, but just trust me! I’ve really enjoyed packing NYX’s eyeshadow single in the shade STFU onto my lid and blending out UD’s Buck from the Naked Palette in the crease. Yellow is one of my favorite colors, and I think this eyeshadow really compliments my skin tone and hazel eyes. You know how some people can rock blue eyeshadow? Well, I’ve never been able to pull that one off, so maybe this yellow eyeshadow will make up for that.
NYX’s Badunkadunk mascara may have a shudder-inducing name, however it is also a mascara that packs quite the punch. Although I’ve never used Maybelline’s The Rocket mascara, I feel like Badunkadunk’s wand is fairly similar. This mascara is really good at giving lashes volume and thickness, while also separating and lifting them in the process.
Although this isn’t exactly a new product for me, it has been a while since I last used the Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes. These face wipes are really hydrating and they don’t irritate my sensitive skin, which basically means they’re awesome in my book. I also picked up two little travel face wipe packs for my trip to England later this month because Yes To Cucumbers is just that great!
That’s all I’ve got for you guys today! Keep it cute, and until next time…
