Effortless Makeup Routine! {+ Tips & Tricks }

Effortless Makeup Routine

It’s been a while, but I’m back with an Effortless Makeup Routine that I’ve perfected for the Summer months. I also threw in a handful of helpful tips and tricks, so stay tuned for those bad boys!

Now that you’ve watched my Effortless Makeup Routine, I’ll go into a little more detail.

I’m not a huge fan of applying SPF with my makeup, however I’m willing to put my feelings aside for the benefit of my skin. I find that using a moisturizer with SPF mixed into my foundation is one of the best ways to sneak in a little bit of sun protection without getting that greasy “I’ve-Just-Come-From-The-Beach” look. If I am going to be spending a prolonged amount of time out in the sun, however, I don’t even hesitate to slap on the sunscreen simply because I burn so easily!

To keep this makeup routine looking effortless, I tried to bring light to my face and give it a more natural and soft look. I achieved this with Soap & Glory’s Bright Here, Bright Now moisturizer – it’s SO GOOD! Expect a cheeky little blog post on this baby in a few weeks. I also put on a bit of Urban Decay’s Brightening Complexion Primer Potion to help my foundation stay put, as well as to add a little bit more moisture back into my face.

Even though it’s ridiculously hot out, I find that moisturizing can do wonders for your skin! It’s like, you know how people say to stay hydrated when you’re in the heat? Your face needs to stay hydrated, too!

Hopefully you found my Effortless Makeup Routine useful! It’s just a little something I’ve gotten used to throwing on if I have a little time in the morning.

I haven’t had a chance to update my blog in a while since I’ve been traveling around and super busy moving and starting work at my internship. I would love to do a series of blog posts on my Summer Travels, and you can expect to see those posts popping up once I get settled down and adjusted to my new surroundings.

Until next time…

Cheers!
