Hi guys! I’m finally back! Today I’m coming to you with a review and swatches of the Lorac Stylist Palette! A couple of weeks ago, Hautelook was featuring this palette for only $15 (which is amazing compared to the normal price of a palette from Lorac) and I couldn’t resist.
The Lorac Stylist Palette is similar in size to Urban Decay’s Naked Basic’s palette, except a little longer! This palette features ten eyeshadows that are perfect for fall — ranging from a matte black to a shimmery champagne color.
Colors
The selection of colors appealed to me because I don’t actually own a deep purple or a dark green, but after swatching all of the shades, my favorites are the dark matte brown, the tan with the satin finish, and the two highlight colors at the bottom of the palette. Those four shades really kind of won me over, you know?
The Lorac Stylist Palette has a lot of variety to offer – a couple of matte colors, a few super glittery shades, and a bunch of shimmery colors. There are just so many different looks you could create with this one little palette!!
Color Pay-Off
The color pay off is relatively good over a primer, and I would definitely recommend this palette. While the colors aren’t spectacular, they’re rich and surprisingly pigmented! Aside from 10 shadows, this little palette also offers a generous mirror that stands up on its own! Really, this would be a fantastic thing to have if you’re always on the go. Needless to say, I adore this palette and I can already see myself getting a lot of use out of this thing.
Is the Lorac Stylist Palette worth it?
100% yes.
With that being said, since this palette was featured on Hautelook it is no longer available! Seriously, Hautelook is one of my favorite places to go for flash deals on makeup, but it can also be a real pain in the ass when something is exclusive or discontinued.
And now for the swatches!
Until next time…
Cheers!x
