Internet Advent Calendar, Day 3: Best Christmas Songs

Christmas Songs

Christmas songs are all over the radio now that it is December, so it’s very fitting that today’s #InternetAdvent Calendar prompt calls for sharing the BEST ones!

The BEST Christmas Songs

My favorite way to listen to Christmas songs is via Pandora Radio, but I do get all of the Christmas-y feels when I turn the radio on in my car and hear “Jingle Bell Rock”. So, without further a-do, here’s a list of my favorite Christmas tunes in no specific order!

  1. Jingle Bell Rock
  2. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
  3. Walkin’ In A Winter Wonderland
  4. All I Want For Christmas Is You
  5. White Christmas
  6. I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas
  7. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
  8. Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree
  9. It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas
  10. Santa Baby
  11. Last Christmas
  12. Holly Jolly Christmas

Personally, I’m a really big fan of the big band Christmas songs, but I must admit that I really do enjoy Hilary Duff’s first studio album, Santa Claus Lane. I don’t know about you, but I feel like Christmas music is really timeless. Like I’m pretty sure most people still listen to Christmas songs from the 1950s and enjoy them just as much as everyone did when they first debuted!

I’m not familiar with any of the newer Christmas songs, actually. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Band Aid stuff where they get all of the celebrities together to sing a song for charity, either. Every time I’ve listened to those types of songs it just seems so weird. All of these artists are singing parts of this song in their own styles. It doesn’t really sound great to me, so that’s probably why I’m not a huge fan of it.

Anyway, if you’re craving some Christmas music, check out this Pandora station and get your jingle jamz out! I’ll be back tomorrow for Day 4 of #InternetAdvent!
